I was thinking, maybe it would be a good idea to have a checkbox in the search page to search posts by "trusted" users only. It will add some clutter, but sometimes it would be nice to be able to filter searches that return many hits. The posts by trusted users are usually answers instead of questions, which is what you want when searching. 
Also, the boolean search is not functioning correctly. For example, a search for "coir oysters" returns more hits than "coir (oysters|pleurotus)".

So you could search post made by trusted cultivators or trusted identifiers, for example?

Okay, I added the ability to limit search results to trusted cultivators and identifiers, and I also fixed boolean mode. Note that you can't used parenthesis for grouping within quotes, so the query as written:
"coir (oysters|pleurotus)"
won't return the results you might expect. However, the following query works now, where before it didn't:
coir (oysters|pleurotus)
