 First 2C-B experience

Last Saturday night, a close friend of mine and I ingested 30mg of 2C-B apiece. We're both experienced with LSD, psilocybin, 2C-E and 4-HO-DIPT, him much less than I, due mainly to my having a few years headstart. We expected quite an experience as 2C-B was the first phenethylamine to be scheduled by the DEA (in 1993, I believe) and was allegedly quite popular as an MDMA replacement in the '80s. Here's what actually happened:
The come-up consisted of an unpleasurable body buzz and a debilitating stomach-ache that resembled a precursor to diarrhea, but, fortunately, never manifested.
The first waves resembled 2C-E almost identically, but weaker on all levels. Sticky, spiderwebby hands, and illusory light sources...
When the trip began to level off at an amazing level of visual distortion (neon colors, shifting, morphing, red and blue pixels, etc...) our heads cleared almost to the point of sobriety. And there we stayed...tripping balls in the visual sense, and somewhat auditorily; we ultimately got bored, however, as the mind is the most important part of any trip! We smoked a couple joints, and my friend went to a bar. I had to work Sunday morning so I went to sleep.
When speaking to my friend afterwards, he claimed his trip was indistinguishable from mine.
My ultimate verdict: 2C-B is a shallow drug suitable for parties and young types. 2C-E - which I prefer, and rather like - has a very light mental trip, but it is present and also rather magical imho. 2C-B, on the other hand, has virtually no mental aspect once the trip levels off. This drug can hardly even be considered tripping unless you just want crazy neon visuals. This drug will teach you absolutely nothing, neither is it particularly entertaining unless you're already doing something fun.

you should mention that the drug teaches YOU absolutely nothing. many people benefit greatly from this compound. i haven't tried it and doubt i ever will, so i can't say.

My first experience with 2c-b was about two months ago and i was at my friends house i blew my dose through my nose which was between 20mg to 30mg. For any one out there who wants to blow 2c-b be prepared its one of the most excruciating pains ever.
After i blew the dose in my friends bathroom i went downstairs into his kitchen n drinking alot of water so i would be able to withstand the drip which was soon to make me gag repetitively. Within 5 minutes after i blew it i started to have intense shroom like visual trips, the pattern of my friends granite counter tops was pulsating in and out of each other while in synchronization with my heart beat. At this time of my trip i was hit with a overwhelming rush of a deep gutted sense of paranoia and fear for that i will never be the same again. The intenseness lasted a long steady hour an which felt Like it lasted for ever. After a hour the intenseness of the trip started to descend and slowly i came out of the paranoia and fear and felt very confused and lost. I felt that i was trying to intellectualize everything and elaborate on simple concepts such as wood flooring.After the first hour there was a good 2 to 3 hours of pure bliss and Ecstasy in which colors seemed brighter sounds sounded better and nothing could go wrong n slowly but surly after a couple hours i felt normal again
