I was just checkin prices online.  they're relativelye expensive, at least a lot more than I thought they would be.

Yes they are moderately expensive, but are still only a fraction of what a gym membership or a larger piece of exercise equipment costs.  They are indestructible and even when you need a bigger one you will still find many applications for the smaller one.  They cost two bucks a pound at my local place.  It's your health here, it's more than a worthy investment, IMO.

What separates a kettlebell from a standard freeweight?

I was just looking at some kettlebell routines on bodybuilding.com and most of the exercises they have listed seem as though they could be done with dumbells

Thanks for the link whiskey.  I'm heavily debating whether or not i'ma try these out.

It's appealing to be able to work out with just a big chunk of iron.  Just need that and some space.
