Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol - or THC, the active chemical in weed - is in the same family of organic molecules as anandamide, a chemical found in the human brain that is associated with feelings of bliss such as those released during sex. So on a molecular level, getting laid and getting stoned aren't too different.

"Have you ever seen what happens when a grenade goes off in a school? Do you really know what you’re doing when you order shock and awe? Are you prepared to kneel beside a dying soldier and tell him why he went to Iraq, or why he went to any war?"
"The things that are done in the name of the shareholder are, to me, as terrifying as the things that are done—dare I say it—in the name of God. Montesquieu said, "There have never been so many civil wars as in the Kingdom of God." And I begin to feel that’s true. The shareholder is the excuse for everything."

We all know cubensis doesn't even require a casing layer, so it's really moot to argue one way or the other what is best.  With species that DO require a casing layer to fruit, plain verm won't cut the mustard.  There's beneficial bacteria in peat that help stimulate pinsets, which are missing with verm.

I've ruffled a lot of feathers lately by stating verm is a nutritious food for fungi.  We all know plain verm casing layers will support cobweb, but they also support cubensis and many other species of beneficial fungi.  You can take a small jar of grain spawn, mix it well with verm, and get a huge flush.  It's not as good as coir or horse manure, but verm definitely isn't inert, even though it's mineral. It's a great addition to any substrate material, and not just for holding water. Go figure.

Damn beet me to it. Fuck cobweb will grow in almost nothing, ive seen it colinise an entire pint glass that once had tea in it. Only food being left was whatever tea stuck to the glass and it wasnt much.

PH balance your casing layer and contamination shouldnt be an issue. Thats why the 50/50+ tek came out. You adjust the ph to make it inhospitable to competitor moulds.

Search for the 50/50+ tek.
