Looks like you're getting alot of different tub experimentation there.  Looks like fun.  Good luck.

ARP180 I think your time line is correct.

I'm fascinated to hear more about the use of LEDs in pot growing if you know much more on the subject. Specifically what kinds of bandwidths work/are required.

I believe I've read people saying that Cool white LEDs are usually the right bandwidth. They didn't have TC tags or anything though and few really backed this claim up. I may go and find some for cheep. However, unfortunately many people prefer warm white for decoration and it's much more commonly stocked (easy to get a good deal on). I intended to buy a string of cool white to test out, but accidentally bought warm white without considdering. Fortunately it was crazy cheep and I can still test it out. I may get a lot of Cool White after this season is over/near over. Worst case scenario if I can't use them for growing I can find an alternate use for them.

I actually found my at home depot.  If you are having trouble finding a good one, go to a hydro store and get a little spaceship led that one might use for cloning.  Although they will be much more expensive there and probably not worth it.  As far as the cannabis, the jury is still out on the subject.  It is a heavily debated issue in that community.  It seems that most think, in a year or two the technology will be there, but right now it's a little lacking.  Many side by side grows have done, and the LEd's yields always come up on the short side.  However, many growers are willing to trade a smaller yield, for a safer set up.  Just like any new device, they are pretty expensive right now. Prices will drop, they will get better, and HPS and metal halide will to the way of the dinosaurs.

I bet it's a combination of LED wavelengths that are required to increase yields. I should probibly look this up on the growery to learn about it. I do have a friend who could benefit from some conclusive information.

Out of curiosity what kind of yield reduction is most common?

Unfortunately no hydro shores in my area so I'd be better off to order the proper setup off the internet.

25-50%,  Here is the benefit though.  Because HPS produce so much heat, you need a large area such as a closet to grow in.  Even in a closet you really should have an exhaust fan pushing excess heat into the attic.  In the winter when every house and apartment roof is covered in snow, be weary of the ones that have a nice round patch where the snow has been melted.  Take a Rubbermaid just like the ones we use for monotubs, tall is good

Plant 3 to 4 clones of some dank(I prefer soil, but hydro is very suitable for this as well) and mount the LED light to the lid.  3/4's of the way up the container, insert a layer of chicken wire.  So it is like a grated shelf.  AS the plants grow, you are going to weave the stems in and out of the wire while pruning so the plant forks.  Like lattice work.  This prevents the plants from growing tall, but still allows them to grow as big as you want even in this small container. It is similar to the practice of continually clipping a plant so it forks out, growing wider not taller.  Instead of a few large buds, you will get a bunch of smaller ones.  Obviously there is more to it than this, but you get the idea.  A complete stealth grow, contained in one rubbermaid.  3 or 4 bins and you are talking lb's come harvest.  With HPS this is impossible, not only would the bin be too hot, the light being that close to the plants would fry them.  No heat sig, no enormous electric bill, no neon glow coming from through door frame. Just a rubbermaid for storing junk.

you say the "Total wet weight (is) 1,856 grams from both of the tubs." Could anybody estimate how much that would be dry?

Ended up being 204 dry, just over 7 O's.  Not bad for a first flush.
