Were there brilliant lights and tunnels of angels or dead loved ones waiting for you?
Did you awaken in a total state of shock on a hospital bed with several shattered bones?

They are doing experiments in hospitals now, in the emergency surgery rooms they have shelves near the ceiling with an image facing the ceiling. If somebody sees the image during an out of body experience and correctly identifies it later, it will be proof towards OOBE's being real and that some kind of spirit survives outside the physcial body
I highly doubt they will find anything but it's good that it should give strong evidence that the experiences are just psychological phenomenon. Really interesting experiment. I'd find a link, but I can't be fucked

oh weird
How they always try to scientifically nail elusive phenomenons.
Stuff that often defies conventional study.
Like we need some clown with a textbook to prove the unexplainable is real.

No lights or tunnels...just the OH SHIT adrenaline pumped feeling prior to being in a painful accident, etc.

I had some intense seizures followed by convulsions. Then saw brown shadowy demon-like creatures flickering all across the room. Everything went black and I was floating over a cemetary at night time whereupon there was thousands of images from my life depicted on photographs floating under me.
That was just one of several though. Clearly I've got nine lives like a cat. People can really learn a lot by almost dying.

If your conscious through it, it's very scary, intense!
Um, the one time i was conscious I was like oding in the backseat of my friends car on the way home....xD My eyes were rolling to the back of my head, i felt super hot and sick. I knew this wasn't any good and i was on the point of passing out. I felt like if i gave in and passed out, i would be dead fer sure. I kept to myself, I didn't say anything to anyone in the car or next to me, i was just looking out at all the lights coming from the cars thinking it would be the last thing i would ever see.
Panicking in my mind, thinking I'm 19 and I'm going to die. Felt so selfish and regretful for doing this to myself. Saying sorry over and over asking God for another chance. I wanted to live to be truly happy one day. To have a better relationship with my mom and dad. It's overwhelming what you're feeling in those moments.:(
It felt like forever until were pulling over the side of the freeway and my friend is taking me out. I then proceed to vomit my guts out and i was just so relieved after that. It just brought me back. idk i guess all i had to do was throw up? I've never felt like that before! xD
Well that was this year, and i have to say that it really did change me. I just don't want to ever put myself in that kind of situation again. I think I've matured so much from it.
^i feel like a cat with 9 lives too maybe like 9+ actually

I once ran out of water on Christmas while riding my bicycle across a desert in California. It took a few hours for somebody to stop, although I had a cardboard sign that said "Need water please". There was no white light, nor was I ever really scared, but I must admit I was pretty pissed that all these young men and women in their shiny pickups full of gifts would leave a stranger to die of thirst in the desert on Christmas.

I think at that point it was your decision to stay, and God would have accepted had you chosen otherwise. I'm glad you remember what it was like.

I forgive them; they are prisoners of their own fear.
The story only gets better when somebody actually stopped. This barman from Las Vegas pulled over and gave me what was left of his 1$ water bottle - a couple of sips. He thought I was on the verge of death (which I wasn't). I was truly grateful. Then he gave me $20 (which is funny because being in the desert with no water is one of the few situations where money ceases to have any kind of meaning). Really cool dude. He gets back in his car and revs it up only to find that he's stuck. I stayed with him until a volunteer fireman stopped but we were powerless without a pickup. Eventually one stopped and pulled the guy out of the sand. It was a funny scene. We were a bunch of people with no connection to one another - some bum on a bike, a fireman, a barman and two guys in a huge pickup - standing there in the middle of the desert on Christmas day. Then everyone went their way and I was back to solitude under the infinite sky and the seemingly infinite road.
Good times. Might I add I was stoned off my ass for the first time in months on that day, because I had eaten two weed cookies given to me by some other bum cyclists I'd met in the desert the day before. The ride to the next town was memorable.
