a thought on wood lovers

well, I'm a daily coffee drinker, and I've always used my spent grounds in grain jars for cubes... I'm wondering if one could grow woodlovers on the used coffee filters, i mean, they are paper, and they're already supplemented with the coffee residue.
Would the used coffee filters be worth hanging on to? What kind of boost does coffee provide for woodlovers?(if any)

And if I had some spores for any wood lovers I would just try it out for myself, alas I do not, so I'd like to hear some expert opinions about this before i spend my moneys on spores.
