Biggest Crystal Meth Bust in NJ History

WEST PATERSON, N.J. - Federal and Passaic County authorities seized nearly 165 pounds of crystal meth Tuesday morning with a street value of $11 million, officials said.

The drugs were recovered in plastic containers, wrapped with black duct tape from a tractor trailer full of limes going eastbound on Route 80 in West Paterson.

According to officials it was the largest seizure of crystal meth in the state's history.

Authorities said they had been tracking down the driver, Alberto Olguin from Texas, for several months. Olquin, 38, was charged with possession and intent to distribute the drug, which carries a maximum of 20 years if convicted.

Olguin is expected to appear in court by the end of the week.

That huge seizure is going to drive prices up, and the meth heads are going to compensate by breaking more car windows to steal stereos and shit. thanks, DEA.

I don't get it either. I watched this video tonight that said...

Crystal is the stuff made in home made labs...

And methamphetamine is the stuff made in super labs in Mexico...I'm really not sure.

Maybe the more pure stuff is powder??? I doubt it, but I don't know.
