I fucking hate Memphis for giving Gasol to the Lakers, the Blazers have no chance unless they somehow get King James in a couple of years. I'm a Jazz fan and I can see the next couple of years being exactly the same with no shot for either to beat them barring some major injuries.
And why would you pass up some VIP seating? The Blazers are watchable even if the Knicks threw away the next two years of being competative for cap space.

Yes I can relate, I had that same 10% hope with the Jazz playing the Lakers in the playoffs last year and posted something simular to yours and the responses were basically exactly the same, hoping for a miracle but getting reality.
I think Portland needs to add one more quality player much like the Lakers did to have a shot at it, probably with within the crop coming up in two years with James and Redd among others.
And before you put too much stock in it if they beat the Celts I'd be more concerned about Oden making it through the season and into the playoffs.
The Blazers, Mavs, and Rockets ranked 4, 5, and 6 is a joke. I'll eat crow if those are the rankings at the end of the season instead of the Jazz, Lakers, Hornets, and possibly the Suns ahead of them. The Spurs are one of the most boring teams in basketball and I hope they implode.

No, even 10% is a generous estimate. Like Portland, living in a one major sport city has it's drawbacks.
