Im not worried about being detached from reality but I am wondering if doing shrooms once a week will fuck my body up at all?
If I wait 7 days will my tolerance go back to normal?

Once a week is too much. That will definitely strain your body. Try more like once every 1 1/2 months. Others might tell you otherwise, but im telling you even once a month is too much :O

7 days is fine. Shrooms will not hurt you.

It is my understanding that all psychedelics are able to alter your brain chemistry. Aside from mental health concerns, shrooms are non-toxic. Your tolerance will go back to normal after 7 days but that doesn't mean you should do it every week. After both of my psychedelic binges, I became severely depressed which lasted over a month and it was certainly not worth it. Plus, spacing out your trips will make your experiences more enjoyable.
Please show some restraint.

Has anyone here tripped once a week and is fine?
I plan on doing it for a year. Shrooms keep me in line. If I have not spent my time wisely during the week, shrooms will remind me I'm failing in life. So shrooms to me are the inspiration I need to keep me on my way to becoming something better than a slave for my employer. Shrooms inspire me to wake up at five every morning and learn new information. If I do not, then I get reminded I'm wasting my life with a bad trip.
Has anyone here tripped once a week and is fine?

I'm not worried about anything mental like depression, that is all in how you look at life in my opinion. I'm worried about body failures. I want to know if that is possible.

Psilo shrooms won't cause any bodily failures, though I cannot say whether that holds with keeping an erection after a year of constant use

I would say I'm addicted. thats fair. I've done acid or shrooms about two times a month for the last six months or so. Now I'm going to step it up to once a week. I have the resources so I'm going to make sure to use them. Shrooms teach me lessons. I Just do not want to die earlier than I would. I have searched for negative effects on the body and can not find any. So to me, It seems like a great plan.

if that is the case then you, psilopsilo, should not be tripping once a week.
not only is it a bad solution, because a lifestyle like that leads to dependance, but you could possibly make it worse for yourself.
14 days is a better length of time to wait. 7 days is enough for your tolerance to go back down, but its not good for your mental state. lay off them if you can.

What's the highest dose you've ever taken?
Take 12 grams one of these days and tell me you still want to trip every week. 
But seriously though, while you still may be okay and able to function taking shrooms once a week, you can't do it forever. You have to learn to keep your life in line without shrooms. Use your experiences with shrooms to help yourself stay on the course you want for yourself. If you take them every week, they become just like any other drug and lose their magic, which would be terrible because that's the best part about them.
Do what you want and what you feel is right, but this is just my advice.

I'm not asking for advice on the mental issues. I'm asking for advice on the physical harm issues with my body. I'm in no way worried about doing shrooms once a week if there is no physical harm. I'm not worried about depression, Life is beautiful. There is no need to be depressed unless you are wasting your time and doing stuff that amounts to nothing. I feel if you have mental issues with shrooms, You had mental issues before you started.
If you have any advice on harmful body effects, I would like to know. If you only have advice on mental issues like depression, no need to post.

let me reword it where I do not sound depressed. When I say keep my life in line. I mean doing something every second of the day that is productive. Before doing shrooms, I was concerned with just doing college and my job and few other things. Now I'm overly obsessed with learning. Being overly obsessed with learning new things is what I consider having my life in line. My life was never "out of line". I was just doing shit like watching TV, which in my opinion is worthless.
