Yeah, mushroomers in Japan, where they are from.  I have some info that might lead me to a print.  There are only one or two Shroomerites that live in Japan iirc.

Cool find. I've seen pictures of these mushrooms before but never knew what species they were.

Those pics are awesome so at least it wasn't a total waste.

Please try to talk him into doing it again, I would love to try those out on sawdust.

I know very little about cultivation and even less about rainforest Mycena cultivation.  These spores are rare enough they should be in the hands of a professional, and that ain't me.  I am planning on doing a series of microscopy photographs for the Shroomery with an emphasis on spores.

Thanks Danny.  The way I figure it, why shouldn't the Shroomery be the mushroom microscopy photo site?

The answer to that question remains posed behind the curtain.  Then time says, "Presto," and out it comes.

I know at least one shroomerite in Japan, i traded with a guy called monkeybus who lives there.

the trade was Gym prints, so i would assume he knows at least a bit about mushrooms, maybe he could be a help?

:peace:
