On principle we shouldn't bash because its their choice, much like smoking weed is our choice and nobody else's, right?
...But i'm going to be a hypocrite anyway. Nicotine is an insecticide, and the plant produces it to protect itself from bugs. Nicotine acts in a similar way on a human as it does on a bug (binding to nicotinic receptors and causing certain muscles to relax and others to constrict), but the difference is that the bug is tiny, so small amounts of nicotine fry the little fuckers.
Tobacco has also changed a lot from the Indians and their peace pipes. If you were to put a small amount in a bowl and smoke it, it would knock you out and wouldn't be a pleasant experience. Cigarette companies add a lot of things to your cigs so the nicotine isn't as strong and it fucks with your body. I'm sure if weed were legal and packaged in joints it would be weak as shit so you'd have to smoke more of them, makes sense eh?
The thing I didn't like about being a smoker is if you smoke often you often lose the buzz and end up smoking for the fuck of getting smoke in your body, which sucks. However, there is nothing like rolling up your own cig and smoking after a fat meal once or twice a month. ...yum.
Either way, don't claim that either is healthy and don't smoke in enclosed public spaces and leave evidence laying around. Other than that it truly is up to you and do whatever the fuck you want.

Not having a filter is probably a better thing since most commercial cigagrettes have all kinds of awful shit in the filters (i.e fiberglass in menthol, which really baffles me). I smoke weed and not cigarettes, and while I try not to get on people's case, I think it is fairly obvious that cigg smoking is way worse for your health. We just have no evidence that long term weed smoking has an increased index of cancer or other illnesses but we have established correlations between a lot of health issues and cigarette smoke in numerous studies, not to mention an abundance of anecdotal evidence. Attribute it to frequency of smoking, amount you smoke of each or content of the plant, but that is a fact man. To each his own, and of course your health is your own business, but I was under the impression that it was common knowledge that cigg smoking was worse for your health and just a choice some choose to make...

i didnt bash cigarette smokers in the pubbers picture thread yesterday, but i was critical of cigarette smoking, and even smokers agreed with my arguments. i dont feel like repeating it all, but the main jist was that cigarette smoking is FAR worse than tobacco and pot actually has benefits, cigarettes do not. and those who use water bubblers and vapes dont get anywhere near the carginogenic effects that joint and pipe smokers get, if vape users get ANY carcinogenic effects at all. cigarettes kill over 200K people a year. how many does pot kill? oh thats right, none OP.
