I like the 80s+ sci-fi's - I just got Total recall 
With comedy I like the crazy comedy like Freddy got Fingered.
Whenever I google this stuff its always films I've seen hundred times already or stuff from 1940.
Any suggestions ?

Have you guys seen the Sci-fi channel mini-series? They go up through The Children of Dune.
I actually liked it, although I thought the costume designs were incredibly over the top. But Dune has a pretty convoluted plot line when you really get into it, so its hard to really enjoy the mini-series if you haven't read the books.
