I normally agree w/ IGN but so far the list is a little disappointing. There are a few gems in there but the real test will come as we get closer to #1

Wow, chrono cross so low. Disappointing, hopefully trigger will be higher
I'm stoked to see eternal darkness made it, albeit at 83; that's the scariest game I've ever played.

There was actually a top #25 list published in a newspaper here in Melbourne a few weeks back. I thought it was pretty good because it included some of the older games like tetris and stuff like that. The only thing I didn't agree with though was they had Goldeneye around #15, to me that game will always be top 5. If I can find a link I'll make a post with it.

That's only somewhat true. Holding up to the test of time is a big factor in the ranking system and they go into detail for every game on why it deserves its spot.

Alright, we've hit the half way point. I'm defiantly seeing the quality of games improve as the list goes on but I'm still seeing a lot of games I've never seen/played.
I'm also a bit surprised by the number of sports games.
