Once you completely die...your body and mind both stripped away to the wires underneath...what can be left but the eternal wires, the mesh that is cradling space and time? That which is eternal can never die, so if you want to live forever, find out what is eternal and...
cling to it like a scared cat! But no matter how hard you grasp at what you think is eternity, you will be stripped away by the sands of time. We only die once, and only then are we one with what is eternal.

Here is a response along with a question you might find adequate for your thought process.
If there were nothing after physical death(which you deny) then i would like to live forever.
I dont want to be just shut down.
Being that i deny this fact also,and believe that there are many stages in which we exist, i would like for those stages to keep on escalating.
Anyway you put it... i want to exist forever.
And although it seems unlikely.. i would like to keep memory of previous stages, and connections.
All in all i want to know ur secret...
U might be fucked up, crazy,stupid...
But u also might be right 
I want to know all u have to say, and i will not discredit any of it.
Ill put it into consideration depending on my personal validation of you credibility.
The only way i know.

I too have come across unreasonable people, but the solution is going into detail as much as you can, and then simply ignoring those who direct the topic in an unwanted way(they prolly dont even know that they are doing so)
