argh............
dad just walked in the house, hammered and wreeking of mold, cigarettes, and cheap air freshiner. mom's not back yet  what should i do
(hes been to get drunk with the crazy neighbors, who is as dumb as a box of rocks, and crazyer than charles manson, chain smokers, and not a tooth in their heads)

............idk, its been happening since before i was alive, and since grandmother had cancer n stuff hes been worse than ever. (i hate pa the way he ackts when hes tanked, gets mad at nuthin and starts blaming everybody on random stuff and the whole family hurts)
every single day this week (cept wendsday when we tok a college tour) hes taken a tryp to the liquor store
other than that hes pretty nice when hes sober

Oh, fuck, that really sucks. I'm sorry if I came off as callous - I just didn't understand your situation.
My mom turned into an alcoholic since I lost my brother. It's the depressive/apathetic kind, and it's nice to see her sober and happy once in awhile. I feel for ya man.

My dads not a drinker he was when my mom died he was at the bars on the weekend and got a dui for being so drunk he was driving on the wrong side of the road when he got pulled over and could barely stand. It was embarrassing bailing your father out of jail. I didnt talk to him for weeks till he stopped drinking.
Granted hes still a total asshole to me hes no an alchy

heh, my dad's still an alchy. i dunno if he's an asshole or not. i haven't talked to him in 12 years. i have no intention of ever seeing/speaking to him again. once you grow up without a father and realize you didn't need one to begin with, it seems pointless

My dad died suddenly when I was about 12, so I kinda missed him to be sure. He could be an asshole when he was pissed but there were good times too.

i remember a few good times with my father, i won't deny. however, the bad times far outweigh the good.
i don't hold it against my brother, by any means, but my dad loved him. i was an accident in my dad's eyes, and for the most part, was treated as such
