I was checking on my bulk spawns just a minute ago to try and fight off some cobweb that looks to be starting. (should I isolate that from my other pans?)
There are random black spots over the top of the spawn.

Close up

Took a piece of WBS out and put it on white paper.

IS THIS BLACK MOLD? Is this pan salvageable? Should I worry about the other pans?

After a touch of reading. I bought my h/poo from a shroomery vendor so i'm trying not leaning that way.
Black Whisker Mold – Doratomyces spp.
This fungus produces black powdery spores that appear as smoke when disturbed. This mold indicates the presence of certain carbohydrates in the compost at spawning time. It also indicates that the straw has been incompletely caramelized or underheated in Phase I (therefore, carbohydrates are in a form easily utilized). The proportion of carbohydrates, particularly cellulose, may be too high.
The black whisker mold is also present in compost that overheated during spawn run could that mean I used too much Spawn for the H/Poo?. OR could that mean too much heat. Like my greenhouse was too warm? At what temperature do Black Mold Spore germinate? Are they dormant below that temperature?
Simple carbohydrates are utilized by this fungus but it can also utilize lignin. Doratomyces, Aspergillus, and Penicillium produce copious numbers of spores and may cause respiratory problems (nasal and throat irritation, chest congestion, breathing difficulty, etc.).

If you think thats mold I would throw it out as soon as possible, black molds are nothing to fuck about with.
Is this the first time your noticing the spots or have they been getting larger in size and number?
I cant tell from the pictures but is the area powdery in appearance?

It looks like it's localized on some little millet seeds. When I used some tweezers and took one out to put it on the paper i noticed it was kinda powdery (spores?)
