 What can I do with my extra plug spawn?

Hey guys, just a quick question, what else can you use with the plug spawn. I have some left and ran out of trees, so can I spawn to millet? maybe sawdust/wood chips? what can I do? Any info will help! Thanks a lot!

I would try dropping a few into a grain jar to expand it then spawn it to some sawdust with oat bran maybe 10% and make some bags they are pretty fun, I love bags, I'm playing around with some Reishi atm in bags using oak sawdust well its chunky sawdust and bran the bags are just about finished  My pleurotus culture died  otherwise it would be nearly done too.

I agree with Juke. Depending on how many plugs you have left, you can inoculate sawdust bags directly with them.
I usually use 2 - 2.5 gal. bags. Prepare 4:1 sawdust and bran BY WEIGHT (check your local health food store, mine had it for $0.69/lb). Wet it to the point of almost dripping when squeezed, and steam for 2 hrs. Let it cool, and fill the bags putting in a few plugs here and there when filling. I usually use 12 plugs per bag, but you can get away with fewer.
