What is the Latin name for that species?

Thanks. According to Wiki Lyophyllum shimeji is mycorrhizal. Would this not be Hypsizigus tessellatus?

Hypsizygus tessulatus. (aka Bunapi-shimeji) Wikipedia claims that this subspecies was created by irradiating the normal brown form. I made a couple of spore prints of these and plan to soon try cultivating those, to see if they breed true or not.

Yeah, I couldn't keep my eyes off of them. I swear I would spend hours looking at them.
