I'm pretty sure the Shroomery was the source. The only question is whether it was Matt and Trey, or one of the writers who lurks here.
I love that episode, whoever copped the idea from here.

It happened probably back in 03 or something like that. Someone in OTD (no pub then) posted this fake trip report about cat piss and it spiraled downward from there. Papaver(I think) made a fake Erowid page for 5-MeO-W. Eventually someone found this teen help website and posted in their drug help forum about how he was addicted to cat piss. Then he told OTD about it and a ton of people signed up on that message board and said that CP was true and made fake trip reports/ways to get piss from a cat. That got messy.
We eventually had to stop doing it. Don't remember why. But I remember the admins of the other site being furious. Thor or Ythan would probably remember.
There you have it, the story of CP.
