Culture isolation via cardboard/burlap spawn. (Questions)

Fellow Funganauts,
Hopefully this is the right forum, otherwise, please move.
My current growing cycle is
spore syringe -> agar -> grain -> outdoor leached cow manure compost (with straw and polysorb pellets) -> fruiting -> cardboard stem butt spawn (Finally! successful isolation of a dikaryotic known fruiting strain! ) -> burlap spawn.
Burlap sacks were boil-pasteurized with leached cow manure (for extra nutrition, due to not growing a wood lover.)
Sacks were laid on cooling table, small amount of moistened polysorb inside bag (to maintain humidity) added, then the sack was rolled up around the cardboard spawn and tied up with string. (these are a few of my favorite things)
Successful leap off onto burlap around day 5.
My questions are
- lacking a laminar flow hood, is it worthwhile for me to try and isolate the cultures back into agar?
- Any guidelines on storing burlap spawn over winter?
- Any tips on using the bags for cultivation?
