DMT tastes pretty strange, but it doesn't taste that bad in my experience. I hear that the flavor is much worse if the material is overheated while vaporizing, which could easily have happened. You don't just want to heat up the bottom of the bulb; you want to heat it as slowly as possible. Too much heat is a bad thing.
Yes I removed it all. I may have overheated it too fast then. It basically liquified very quickly and started to smoke. It was just a very scary feeling inhaling it, it didn't feel right. Very plasticy taste and smell to it.
lol dmt IS very scary to inhail

Ok so I had my first DMT trip. After many failed attempts using the lightbulb vape method I gave up on it and just used a regular glass pipe. I placed a layer of ashes on the filter, then dmt, then ashes on top. As soon as I hit it once I knew it was gonna work as I saw the pipe load right up. I could not hold the smoke in very long, maybe a couple seconds the first hit and a few more the second. I felt the onset and thought ok that's enough I think. I lay there and very quickly it felt like I was losing control of my breathing, which was sorta scary. I closed my eyes and there was definetly some funky stuff going on, swirling patterns of some sort, but not very colourful. There was also a pretty loud buzzing in my ears. Anyways, it seems to last like maybe 1-2 mins. But definetly nothing even close to some of the experiences I have read. As uneventful as it was, it was still pretty intense and satisfying. I'll have to work on holding it in longer next time!

That's the mistake a lot of people make when they are first starting to mess around with dmt. It comes on instantly, thing is you have to keep hitting it, even after it kicks in.

Ya, I could tell right away that I was only feeling very light effects because of that. The thing that really makes it hard to let go through it all is the sensation of not breathing. Instictively was trying to pull out of it all and resist because of that. If I could get over that and let go, I know it would magnify it all quite substantially. How do you do it?

Just relax, know that even though you're leaving your body behind for a bit, your body still knows how to breath. Really, all you have to do is surrender to it and let go; I think that trying to fight and resist it when you've got a solid breakthrough dose could lead into some pretty negative places.
