 borderline paranoia trip?

Last time i tripped on LSD last week, was crazy! Once i differentiated the effects profile from DOC to LSD and realized it was real i thought I had broke the matrix and agent smith (or any agent hehe) was going to bust down my door take me away and make me disappear from the face of the earth. I thought I had unlocked the truth and I knew too much & was a risk and they were coming for me!
good thing my bro was there reminding me that im tripping and this isnt a movie.
anyone ever experienced this? can anyone make sense of this?
im not neo.. but i sure felt like i was.. not quite from the matrix but my own saga.. and the weird paranoid delusion started after i smoked weed.. so yeah.. anxiety+paranoia from the weed made me think very bizarre irrational unrealistic things. im going to avoid weed for sure next time i ride the lucy train...
edit: two comments, 1 - if my friend wasnt there, maybe the trip wouldnt have been bad. im a great solo tripper. plus he smoked the weed with me! its his fault. 2 - or it could have been quite frightening sitting in fear thinking agents with earpieces and suits were coming for me for awakening the truth in me.

Yes.
First time on acid, I had a trip where I thought I had gained secret knowledge of the universe and the CIA was monitering me, and that is why acid was illegal.... very complex, not scary really....... but easily believable in my state of mind.
