Calling all Classic Prog buffs!

I need help finding this song/band!
I just heard a song on the radio (so it can't be that obscure) that sounded at first a bit like Pink Floyd (the wall era) mainly with the topic of the song which is school, teachers, and children being forced to do things because their elders demand it and the particular breakdown it was at when I turned the radio on(a quiet part with the vocalist talking about the injustice of being told what to do because "their old bones know best" (not exact quote).
The vocalist sounded a bit like King Crimson's Greg Lake (In the Court era).
There was piano, I think sax (already my weed addled mind is fading the memory of the song to oblivion) and of course drums, bass and guitar. There was one part with a straight 4/4 rock beat, that almost reminded me of the last half of Wishbone Ash's "Sometime World" though mainly because of the production quality.
If anyone has any clues as to what this song is, or can point me in the right direction, let me know, if was fantastic.
*sorry if I sound pretentious, I'm really not, I just don't know how else to describe the song, and I'd love to add the band (or album) to my music library.

I don't have an answer to your question, but I'd like to add that Yes are the greatest and most underrated prog rock band ever. If you're not familiar with them, I highly recommend The Yes Album.
King Crimson is great also.

Waay ahead of you man, Yes is one of my favourite prog bands. Close to the edge gets alot of spin time in my cd player.
Found it, my roommate suggested Supertramp, and lo and behold! The song's called 'School.'
Definitely a cool song, kind of disapointed I wasn't on the road to discovering some awsome prog band to explore though. Supertramp still kicks ass.

The third track on The Yes Album, 'Starship Trooper,' is just absolutely amazing. It gives me chills.
