driving down the road and what do i see? a big pile of cacti waiting for me.
 ^that is what i left behind
 ^that is all i could fit in my little ford focus

I'm going out of town tomorrow but if no one else has snagged the rest i'll be going back on sunday for more.

if those cactus would have been despined i would have jumped in that pile and rolled around in that cactus heaven.

Jebus, they musta had some monsters growing in there.
It looks like a Cereus monstrose - inactive but still good for grafting etc..

OK here we go. I went back and got another load of cacti. Took me about 3 days to get everything cleaned up and sorted out. here's some pics
  A colony of fuzzy things
 one of the nastier cuts.
 sunburn
  a couple interesting specimens
  
  Flowers!
   The longest surviving cuttings. the floor tiles are 12"
 The debris pile left after cutting/cleaning
 
  The grand total.
My garden will be splendiferous. Would these guys be a good grafting stock? I was thinking of attaching pachanoi tips to some of them.
