 Nutritional Yeast

Anyone use it?
I saw some at the store the other day. It was a vegan parmesean cheese substitute. It had nutritional yeast and crushed walnuts. It smelled ok, but the price was kinda steep for a small spice bottle.
What is it good on? Is it even worth getting?

i do, i add it to soups, sprinkle it on with seasonings and herbs, sprinkle it on salads, etc. good stuff.

cool. I'm gonna pick some up next time i'm at the store. Seems my pasta could use some extra kick to it.
Plus i read that it's good for vitamin b12 so there's energy right there.

yeah, it doesnt add alot of flavor kick to anything, but it is really good for you.

lefty, you must be crazy or not using enough if you don't think it adds much flavour to things.... but then i saturate my food in it.
toast + butter + avocado +nutriotional yeast, salt and pepper =  best quickie breakfast ever
centrum- plain old nutritional yeast is probably a little bit cheaper than vegan parmesan cheese replacer. try to find it at a healthfood store.

yeah I cant wait to pick some up. Havent been by the store that sells it yet. I still remember that smell of the yeast, definitly strong.

just picked some up today. Had it on some tabouli and then some pasta. I added heaps of it and I love the flavor.
