Okay.
heres a few.
these are taken off of Gr8tfulJ and his wifes rooftop deck. actually double rooftop deck.
 
this one is sort of overlooking Keihe
and this one is like looking up the OTHER mountain(the East side, aka Haleakala) towards my house

heres a picture looking out to West Maui.
me and the lady jogged up crater road a bit this evening and made it to our highest elevation yet, where we snapped this picture
then continued to jog up more.
tomorrow gr8fulJ and i are hiking haleakala crater, so ill be adding plenty of beautiful pics soon!

I saw on my local news a volcano erupted in Hawaii. Were you able to see it, just me? Any pics?
How's paradise in Hawaii compared to Florida?

i have such a peace in my heart.
this island has a spirit and i dont think it (he/she(i think its a she)) minds sharing it with those she knows wont abuse her.
i think she likes me.
theres a joy in my heart thats hard to explain.
no pics of the volcano. its funny cuz a friend in FL said there was one erupting, and we didnt knnow about it here

hahahaha oh at my local "safeway" supermarket buying fishsticks gives you 20 bonus airmiles, which are like points you collect when you buy stuff which go towards paying for plane tickets (among other things)

Kilauea is definately going off at pretty much unprecedented levels. A new vent has opened up inside the naitonal park, in the old crater. An area called Kalapana is receiving a lot of lava flow. This is all on the island of Hawaii, usually called "The Big Island." I was there a few weeks ago for a little camping trip.
Lava flow by day....
Lava by night....
People are living on a lava flow that covered up their properties a few years ago. Not sure of the year of this lava flow, but there are a lot of people rebuilding and trying to get by.
Just Me- You are gonna love this hike. I think we can make it to the wilderness cabin and back within your timeframe. 7 miles round trip? And then hit the beach to cool off afterwards.

small update.
that had a huge impact on me
the energy that this place gives, maybe only to those who will apreciate it, i dont know, but it's undescribable and this will now and forever be a spot i consider a home away from home
-let me apologize first and foremost for the pictures that dont do this magical place ANY justice.
my camera broke towards the end of this hike due to a wonderful cleansing(but cold as fuck hahaha)rain.
oh, so did my phone 
anyway, on with it. and any islanders on the board, THIS is where we're gonna have a shroomery gathering!!!
this one is just as we started. we see a huge cloud rolling in.
this is J(if you want me to put somethin over your dome let me know bro) and the background i believe is the first point where you actually look inside the crater. i cant explain the feeling of seeing somethin like this for the first time
notice with this picture. youll see the same landscape repeated times, but look at the difference in distance each time

the spot of last recorded lava flow on Maui. estimated around 1790. but thats iffy.
