Nice pics, is it an early season for Amanitas or do they usually friut around this time?

amanitas scare me. haha. ive found a bunch around my house although they are not muscaria and im not sure what kind they are. definately amanita tho

i have other amanitas growing from the same patch as the above mushrooms, except earlier in the year...
probably a. pantherina but i never bothered to id them...

They are beautiful things. I have them growing in grops down the woods near my house. They appear to be very common.

amanita muscaria always mark the begging of the seasom for me hope for you too , did you know is supost to rain more in all the world  this year more than other you will see.hope you find the semilanceata soon. i enjoy those views.

they grow all over the place, mainly with birch around here, i've never seen them growing with any other trees...

Yeah, I know. Seen them growing there myself lol. Got LOADS of other different types of fungi there too.

They have started to appear around the woods near me, and yeah you get loads hartsholme/swanholme as well as the woods around both commons :tongue:

i like going further afield to find them, this is my favorite place...





birch lined valley full of nice ferns and it produces some really photogenic specimens too...
