Rage Against The RNC
    #8875616 - 09/04/08 07:27 AM (2 months, 30 days ago)

Raw video of an impromptu Rage Against the Machine concert at the Minnesota State Capitol. After electricity was cut off, the band continued with an a cappella rendition of "Bulls on Parade".

I wish there were more bands capable of producing the power rage has to get people wanting change.

He is ashamed before the blade of grass or the blowing rose.Man postpones or remembers; he does not live in the present, but with reverted eye laments the past, or, heedless of the riches that surround him, stands on tiptoe to foresee the future. He cannot be happy and strong until he too lives with nature in the present, above time

Too funny, the back of my head is actually in that clip.

The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. For it is against scoundrels that oppressive laws are first aimed, and oppression must be stopped at the beginning if it is to be stopped at all.

I watched this yesterday, mildly entertaining.
However.

"We don't advocate violence" then a few minutes later "Maybe one day the cops will turn their tear gas and rubber bullets on those assholes at the RNC" (not word for word.)

He may in fact, be a literal bum, only able to make himself known to us here by occasionally stopping into dark internet cafes to make a few quick, frantic posts before the owners force him to leave because of the stench of rotting vegetables and desperation wafting forth from his pores. [/quote]

I think the concert is nice, I disagree with their ideals, but do enjoy the concert.
