 Where to obtain an isolated oyster culture?

How can I get a single isolate of some type of oyster in a readily growable form? Can I avoid strain isolation work on my part?
I love mycology but Im not that advanced. Im trying to set up an experiment for general biology that also has some time constraints.
Do I need to buy a syringe?
A wedge?
Will either insure that I have a single strain?
It seems cloning from a fruit would be a sure bet, but that means I have to find a fruit (limiting species options) or do a grow (expanding time frame). Im not completely sure I'll have access to a laminar hood or access may be limited, so simpler would be better.
