more notes on datura medicinally
    #8864879 - 09/02/08 09:24 AM (3 months, 23 hours ago)

fresh leaves work way better on swallon lymph nodes then dried. dried barely work i think its cause its all about chewing it and quiding it and letting the juice absorbe under the tounge. i dont suggest swallowing leaf when using this method for treating lymph nodes

I read another, similar post, in which thedudenj suggests using only leaf tips. I believe that several placed in a wad of double mint gum cured my migraines permanently.

The saying with psychedelics is that you can't jump half way off a cliff. I believe that I can, but the intensity of the trip increases exponentially as more, small amounts of plant material are ingested.

The taste and smell range from mild to potent, and I feel that it's reasonably easy to discern which leaves will have the more powerful effects.

I don't believe the horror stories come from people who experimented with reasonable amounts.

exaclty those are people that go im gona eat alot and get fucked up then they get fucked up and personally i give the vibe of you deserve to be fucked hard and if you need a new body to learn from it so be it.

any who i also dont suggest swallowing the leaf and the moment you  start getting dry mouth stop chewing leaves, by then the swelling should of gone down or the sore throat gone away.

i dunno what else to say other then its really amazing on colds too, when properly used, specially in conjunction with vicks vapour rub.

i dunno i would say theres an energy healing aspect to it aswell.

as i said only chew the leaves and dont swallow other then the juice and chew on what ever side is swallon till swelling goes down then switch sides if needed.

as long as you dont swallow you dont have to worry about negitive side effects for the most part. when chewing take your time chewing it feel it out and chew till theres no flavour left. its a strong enzyme like taste or something like that, i think its actually enzymes in the plant that give the medicinal factor and not the drugs, dried leaves dont work as well they tend to do little and have more of a negitive side effect.

dont use seeds or flower.

i dunno what else to say i have luck with inoxia and wrightii i havent tried jimson weed nor wish to, on account of its doesnt have inviting leaves also its leaves are fuzzy like the other too i think that fuzzyness has something to do with the healing but now thats just getting native or ancient chinese about medicine lol

well i guess that explains it then. i bet the leaf works better tho.

any who i dunno about your mouth bite but the open wounds would increase drug absorbption so i dont suggest having alot at once

Atropine is given in case of a nerve gas attack.

They keep these pens in the first aid kits in Israel, take the cap off, and stab themselves in the thigh.

It's also supposed to be the antidote for muscarine poisoning.

In Ayurveda, datura leaves are supposed to be charred and dissolved in oil. The oil is rubbed on the lower back to cure impotence or on the scalp to cure baldness.

I don't think this is practical unless the dose is very low. I wiped the sweat off my greasy face after handling a brugmansia and got very high. I did this on purpose with a datura, and the same thing happened.

Bad highs are rumored to come from the hydrochloride salts which are created when the alkaloids combine with your stomach acid, but nothing scary happened to me when I kept the dosage under strict control.

Also, different blends were historically smoked, in order to render someone senseless for old fashioned operations.

Eventually, a buildup of tropane alkaloids is said to destroy the lungs and heart.

(BTW, personal experience tells me never to mix nightshades with coumarins, again.)

oh yeah i know about the injects of nerve gas... but yeah smelling stonger flowers and touching them tends to work amazinging i dont suggest jimson tho it jagged for a reason.

im accutally not sure which kind this is exactly but the leaves are kinda freindly and fuzzy and just work so welll. with this stuff a little dose does more then a huge one by far i had a trip last night that was a walk with death kinda but not like you were gona die, just learning from death with a freind death had to teach her things.

The same goes for other Nightshades, which I've seen in garden magazines.

I don't believe in engaging people with paranoia tactics, but it's your own fault if you don't warn willing listeners to be responsible.

IMO, these are prone to start out more fuzzy and lose some of that fuzz with age.

From experience, healthy datura bushes have a sort-of "stink" to them, which gets especially potent on those record heat days.

If the brugmansia smell works, I believe that's strongest at night.

I had one of these surprise me and grow up, next to a house plant. The fumes will fill a stuffy room when it gets warm.

yeah d.metel smells the best i think.

the brugmansia are almost overwhelmingly sweet.

i was breaking the seeds out of a d.metel seedpod today, and all the mushy stuff got all over my hands, and i didnt wash them, but never felt the slightest effect
