Ghetto Mango Lassis
    #8859950 - 09/01/08 11:31 AM (3 months, 1 day ago)

If you enjoy Indian food you're probably familiar with lassis, the ubiquitous cold yogurt drink.

I just ran across an easy home recipe for something that approximates a lassi and is absolutely delicious.

1 15-oz can of mangos, drained.
3 cups plain yogurt
1/3 cup sugar, or more if you like it sweeter, but I think this is about right.
2 cups crushed ice.

Blend Mangoes/yogurt/sugar until blendy, then add ice and blend until smooth.

Awesome when it's hot as fuck, as it is now.

Gah!

Fixed.

Original recipe was for Peach Lassis, but the mango is much better.
