well i actually didnt have any aborts. I had a couple of fruits that had a little bit of green on them but they look fine. I had one healthy fruit that i put in the fridge and it quickly started to turn black. It doesnt smell or anything yet but it doesnt look good. Its in the dehydrator now.

I know, i read all that.
simply put: don't put your harvested fruits in a fridge.
it's bad for them. hands down.
there are many ways for you to dry them, just get them out of the fridge asap!

I would assume people do this because mushrooms you buy in the grocery store are usually refrigerated to some degree.
I don't know whether a blackened mushroom would hurt you, but personally i would just toss it.

why the fuck do you think people do it? The same reason you even own a fucking fridge in the first place. It keeps things fresh for longer. Some people don't have the luxury of being able to dry their shrooms right after harvesting so i did what i could do until i had access to a dehydrator.

damn, i just let them dry by themselves with nothing blowing on it or nothing. It works just fine!!! Or you can just eat them fresh!!! There the tastiest and best when there just picked!!! Yummy!

Every time I have ever eaten a fresh mushroom in my life I spend the 1st half hr of my trip doing  . I never eat them that way,come to think of it I hardly eat them dry either,I'm a tea type of guy  ,tea never makes me feel sick at all

sorry i was drunk last night. if i make tea will it not last as long? they dont smell at all so i think im gonna do them tonight
