Do not put Kahlua in your coffee as per the directions on the Kahlua bottle. You won't get drunk, but you will get sick, very sick, and not recover for a long time.

Well, I exaggerate, but it tasted like COMPLETE shit and gave me a massive headache for the next 24 hours. I regret doing it, wouldn't advise it to anyone else. 
I drink coffee all the time and I fucking love a good white Russian, so I don't think allergies are involved.

I don't think that reaction could possibly have been from mixing kahlua and coffee. Coincidental illness of some sort seems more likely.

I don't think caffeine and alcohol have any interactions... Well people have been doing it for a long time and these are both legal so I don't know why I wouldn't have heard about it before.

Maybe I'm just very sensitive to sugary alcoholic beverages - drinking more than two Mike's Hard Lemonades is guaranteed to put me under for a day.
And when I was in South Africa, I drank a couple pint-sized bottles of hard apple cider... that headache didn't go away until I was back in America smoking hash.
