Wow, you are really just embarrassing yourself right now. Nobody's going to start any revolution, as that would require everybody to agree on one thing, which will never happen. You obviously have no sense of the value of money. You work to make money so you can eat, and clothe yourself, and have a place to live, and *buy drugs*. Don't be all condescending to us because we're not starting some revolution. Get a fucking job. You're sitting around going 'Come on, where's the revolution?', while somebody in the real world (i.e. your parents) is working to earn money to pay for your next meal.

yea but at first it will complete chaos just because nobody can transport a thing.. no food, water, electric. just because nobody can get to their jobs unless they are pretty close. and besides, its going to take atleast 100 years to adjust to another alternate power. i think the best thing should be that every job just pays the exact same rates with inflation abolished all together so nothing goes wrong. why do they make jobs that pay different? if a certain job that everybody wants is full of employees, then find a alternative job.

b/c thats socialism, and it leads to nobody striving for anything, halting progress and advancement. my job pays commissions as well as a decent salary. that means, the harder i work, the more money i see, which leads me to work harder than i would knowing that i wouldnt get paid anything extra.
if everybody made $33k/yr no matter what job they had, nobody would work harder than they had to to not get fired. technological advances would nearly halt b/c fewer people would try to become a doctor on the cutting edge of science, or try to build a 17mi long particle accelerator to test a theory. they'd be just as happy and wealthy working at a restaurant getting free food all day.

That is a really impractical idea, honestly. Socialism can only work on a small scale. You wouldn't in a million years be able to get enough people to over throw the government in our current state. The way things are right now is the natural order of things. It's fucked, but it's what happens. If you somehow managed to follow through with a revolution, it would eventually revert. Just look at the American and French revolutions. What you really want, is an exclusive, private space station and plenty of money to fund it. Look for patterns, and if you have any money, invest it in where you think the future is heading.
Then build that space station with the profits  .
