Here's a keeper

http://kexp.org/home.asp?noflash=false

kexp is by far the best and most diverse music station out there. forget BBC, WFMU...whatever...KEXP, a freeform public fm radiostation based in Seattle, delivers the most expansive and unique music in the world.

They have special-genre programs weekly. If youre into electronica music for example, every Wednesday night you can hear their 3-hour electronic show called "Expansions". This particular program is spun and mixed live by 3 rotating host dj's (all three of them are very very fucking good, and each spins different styles of electronic beats)

Anyways, there's a weekly 3-hour program for virtually any genre you can think of. Many great indie artists and bands perform live sets at the station too. In fact its fair to say that kexp is the most loved fm station by most of the bands and artists themselves.

I really hope at least a few of you guys check their site out. it's absolutely worth it! even if youre a music afficionado, i promise you will STILL discover plenty of great music you've never heard before when tuning into kexp.

{Peace}

www.looknohands.com -Chord/Scale charts. Very useful.

http://guitar-masters.com/ -Mostly advanced jazz related theory.

http://www.guitar-and-bass.com/guitar/index.html -Purely scale, chord, and arpeggios charts. Can be very useful and it's free!

http://www.zentao.com/guitar/ -General theory/technique site. Some really good reasources.

http://soundme.com/eng/frame.htm -Very comprehensive site.

http://www.acguitar.com/lessons/lessons.shtml -Archive of Acoustic Guitar Lessons.

http://www.essentialguitar.com/ -Probably the weakest one on here but may contain some good info.

http://www.ibreathemusic.com/ -Lots of articles written mostly by metal heads. Don't let that turn you off though, theres lots of great info on soloing and technique.

www.freeguitarvideos.com You get to actually see how to play some standard licks. Great site period.

http://www.justinguitar.com//Lessons.html -General guitar info with some good transcriptions.

http://www.outsideshore.com/primer/primer/index.html -Jazz improvisational primer. Not specific to guitar.

http://www.dolmetsch.com/theoryintro.htm -Everything about music theory you ever wanted to know.

check out this site with the biggest list of free VST plug-ins I've ever seen.

http://www.gersic.com/plugins

if you don't know how this works: you can open these from FL studio, Ableton Live or almost any software you're using. enjoy!
