Indeed, they are perhaps some of the best plants I have received via mail.
Only one of the dream herbs didn't have roots and that could have been my fault for mishandling out of anticipation.

This Florida weather proves excellent for most plants so far.

hey you are welcome bro

  thanks Cptn
Was it you I got the dream herb cutting from originaly??

  Amberica...
You should put it back into a glass of water then so it grows some new roots.  Even if only one survives you can take many many cuttings from it in the future.

wait I see you planted it already. lets just hope it pulls through

oh and the seeds are Silene Capensis. They are very easy to grow and have good germination rates. Just plant them a half inch or so in moist potting soil. They should sprout within 2 weeks. Sometimes they pop up out of the blue also.

and also I want to point out I didn't send the Lemon tree, Catnip and Spearmint

Well one of the three cuttings the roots were damaged, I planted two and one is sitting in water rerooting. Hopefully it will pull through if not those 2 or even 1 will do more than enough.

And I'd happily send cuttings if possible after I get the seeds to germ.

Also, I took a large piece of plastic wrap and used some sticks as holders to make a humidity tent for one of the dream herbs, hopefully help it perk up since it seems a bit droopy. I'll probably remove it tonight after it gets a good amount of sunlight; after all this is Florida.

good luck getting them to germ, i believe they have about 1% germ rate:lol:

but if you have that abundance of seeds go for it

and with the humidity dome, someone correct me if im wrong, its usually not best to just take it away and leave it away suddenly, but to kinda introduce the plant to a lil more fresh air each day till eventually its completely off

Well It's covered as best as possible, I can take a pic if you guys want to see, if not there is another one being taken care of by my friend.
Even so 1/3 is nice.

I'll plant as many as possible to germ, got any guide to make it a little easier? (On the silene capensis)

Sorry about quality, I don't have a macro setting. And it's a terrible camera, thinking about getting a new one.

I ended up with a Peruvian Torch, it's pretty sweet. I put it in a small glass with some nice soil I got underneath a tree in my front yard. Gave it about 1/6 a cup of water and set it outside in the sun(where the sun will be, overcast right now).

I've never grown anything before, hopefully it lives long and prospers.

Well it'll be fine with any mix of soil. Just make sure it gets some sun, if it's overcast and going to rain pull it in though.

Is that a good enough humidity chamber for the time being

Well I would assume so, I'm going to reduce it's size slowly over the next 3 days, until I remove it.
Let it acclimate itself to the setting, but it looked sort of wilted, so I gave it a bit of water and put together a poor mans chamber.

waht do you mean reduce its size?

cust keep it covering the whole pot. and remover for like an exrta hour each day till eventually its off 24/7

if you see water droplets on it, then its holding in humidity

That's what I meant, but removing this and putting it on is sort of a hassle. And I dont have a good alternative to humidity dome.

The plant has never had high humidity so I don't think it needs it.
It was cut from the mother almost a few weeks ago and knows how to get water through it's stem by now.
  Calea root very easy.

Well then the one I have rooting in water should be fine, I'll just remove the humidity thing I have setup.

Thanks for the advice .
