WBS >>> HPoo/straw .... seems stalled, advice?

hi there, i'm pretty new to using bulk methods and seem to have run into some kind of delaying problem with my current grow, wondering what i should do about it.
info: WBS spawned to HighMountainCompost ("nutriboom") approx 1 to 5 WBS/substrate ratio incubated at 74 - 84 degrees in ziplock bags with filter patches
here's a photo of the 4 bags i'm currently dealing with:

i set these up and then went out of town for 5 days. when i came back they looked pretty much as the pictures show and have done very little since then (been a week since i returned). there have been some temp fluctuations for sure because we had a heat wave and i'm certain the temp got up into the high 90s one day (don't think it crossed 106 though), so i moved them to a cooler location for 2 days until the heat wave passed.
so my question at this point is, is there a way to spur further growth? should i crumble? maybe it's worth noting that the undersides appear more fully colonized, although still not completely in any of the bags. no funky smells or signs of contamination at this point.
thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!

i'm thinking i might as well attempt to case these bad boyz (nothing to lose if it doesn't work), but also perhaps wondering if it would be beneficial to crumble and add more colonized WBS to the mix beforehand?
i'll find out what happens i suppose, but it would be awesome if anyone could weigh in with some experience or an informed opinion.

This is typical of growth in a ziplock bag as per my experiments years ago. There isnt enough gas exchange in there so they stall out.
