Hi everyone, i would like an identification if anyone can help me, please. Thanks much, BODI
Habitat: long grasses. growing oin and around rotting wet wood, horse dung nearby
Gills: The gill color varies from a tan to a light grayish brown color. bruises purplish gray has a dark brown edge.
Stem: Thick Whitish tan, hard and blocked slightly larger toward cap transforming to hollow while aging.
Cap: buff on edges, cinnamon to golden brown in the center moving out to edges after picked, smooth, 1-2 inches in diameter.
Spore print color: purplish brown.
Bruising: purplish gray gills and stem.
Location: Picked in midwest Rocky foothills but not in the plains growing in rotting pines, birch, aspen that are lying in long grass after a lot of rain
