Are you fucking serious?!? Alexander Shulgin discovered, synthesized, and bioassayed over 230 psychoactive compounds and personally discovered the majority of the research chemicals that are now being tried and slowly banned across the world. You'd better start researching, I hate the fact that everyone is so against research chemicals without knowing that they have been around for longer than anyone seems to realize. His/and his wife's books, co-authored, talk about their personal lives, and as well, give trip reports of every know psychedelic, as well as the full lab write up of how to make them.

He actually lost his DEA approved license to possess and alter psychedelic compounds after the release of these books, unfairly, but none the less, this is what caused it. He should be looked upon historically.

He is. Sort of. Scientific American. More mainstream exposure than most in this field get. Still, they should have honored him in print...

Lol, Thx so much for the article, I love that he expects that psychedelics will stretch from the known psychedelics from 300 to 2,000. Part of his book strays from tryptamine's, and phenethylamine's, to the possibility that histamine's could as well offer psychedelic effects with further study and research. We're looking at brain chemistry, as well as new recreational drugs, that are physically harmless (theoretically) that could lead us into completely knew states of consciousness.

Alright, let's back up a second. Serotonin, psilocybe, psilocybin, psilocin (and several other suggestions) are already in the spell checker. Please make sure your word is:
1. Spelled correctly
2. REALLY not in the spell checker
before you post it in this thread. I don't have time to go through 100 words double checking you guys.
BTW, the red squigly line you see in FireFox only means that the word isn't in YOUR local dictionary. Use the Shroomery spell checker to to confirm your word isn't already there.
