I hear a lot of people say that the lsd sold today isnt real lsd, but a mixture of other chemicals that produce similar effects. Is this true? Is there no more "real" lsd being made?

This sounds like a "the old days were better" kind of thing.
That is complete bullshit ofcourse. Our drugs are better and stronger than ever.

well i can agree with him to a extent, there isreal lsd no doubt, but you can also get RC's if you dont know your supplier that well. thats all

People are morons. Also, LSD-25 and LSD are the same thing. The 25 is just the # in that series of chemicals Hofmann was working on.

That's something I've heard baby boomers say to explain why it was OK for THEM to trip but not OK for US.
Its a load of horseshit. LSD is alive and well.

From what I've seen, if you buy a blotter drug chances are you're getting acid. If the hits are 1/4'' by 1/4'' then it's probably acid, and if it makes you trip for 8-12 hours than it's definitely acid. I've never done DOB so I don't know if the effects feel very different but you can tell by duration and onset (acid comes on in about 30-60 minutes Rc's can take like 2 hours).
Bascially, yes there is still plenty of authentic LSD-25 around. Check out this Erowid article for further proof that the acid you can get on the streets is as good as ever.

I can always tell that what I get is straight up authentic lysergic acid diethylamide, but then again I deal with very respectable people. If you're buying blotter from some wannabe gangster that's never tripped before, you're more likely to get dead hits or an rc.

Yea. LSD today has been reported better in a lot of cases. Its either LSD or it isn't. There are RCs going around, but I have only had them once.

no way man, considering an average hit of blotter in 1969 was 100ug plus and today it is around 50ug. when the acid revolution happened there was far less worry about profit, people making super strong dose because they wanted people to have a good time. our pot is stronger and better, but our LSD, probably not.

^I think it's natural that it would be like that...people were just closer to the source. Owsley would hand out acid himself. I guarantee if you live in SF or are close to a place where acid is made, you can still get that classically amazing blotter.

I'd say the average is closer to 100 mics in America these days but there's a good amount of more potent hits around Europe.

i have access to good blotter, thats not the problem. its the majority of other people who dont get great blotter or get RCs sold as LSD and thats the reason for these threads. hell yeah there is still LSD around, not as much as 40 years ago, but its still around.
