 Grasping advanced concepts during psychedelic experience

Do you guys manage to grasp advanced concepts such as “probability” during your psychedelic experience or is your brain too attracted by changes in traditional perception (colors, emotions, consciousness) that none obvious perception (like probabilities) are difficult to perceive? Do you believe it is easier to grasp these concepts with LSD (cleaner) than with mushrooms?

Poker? I doubt it. I did gain an incredible understanding of Constructivism in International Relations Theory from my mushroom and salvia experiences though.

Your mathematical abilities would probably end up getting skewed, but your perception of other people's emotions and your sense that they might be bluffing might get enhanced. Dunno, if it ever came down to playing poker while tripping I'd probably be more mesmerized by the pretty patterns on the back of the cards than by the game itself.

Under the influence of mescaline and high doses of cannabis I always find myself able to grasp advanced concepts and ideas. While on mescaline, anytime I analyze something, imagery is displayed, conveying visually how that particular thing works. dont know if im making sense, just sampled some new bubble hash that came in today

Pft, I can't even open my trunk during a good trip. I cannot understand prices either, if I go shopping while tripping. I'd say that the ability to understand advanced *mathematical* or *mechanical* concepts is definitely dumbed down. But you gain insight into other fields to make up for it, I think.

Thats how it works for me. If I lay back and let my mind go adrift, advanced concepts suddenly become understood. Yet if I try to post on here, everything comes out as jibberish. In my experience, Ill have a deep understanding of how things work, yet am not able to convey it and bring it out into the open. I may come to understand how certain mathematical equations work, but will never be able to put it on paper

No, I really can. Ive done research after some of these experience and verified my findings. This is why cannabis helps with studying and learning.
Everything seems profound because everything is. What is not profound about the universe we inhabit?

I once played poker with like 6 people and I was tripping balls on shrooms (about 3/4 of the way in the trip). I actually played very well (ended up 2nd in the Texas Hold'em tournament we played). I came in 2nd because the game dragged on until like 8:30 AM and I was fucking hella tired and didn't give a fuck about winning anymore. My last opponent was all night long sober, not tripping, and is used to staying up all night as a matter of course.
I thought it was good and helpful because it stripped away the ego as to how good of a player I was, how "smart" my moves were, etc. With the emotion and ego out of the way it was simpler: Do I have good cards? Is this a reasonable wager in light of my cards? Do my opponents show signs of fear/bullshitting??
I recommend trying it once if you are playing a low-stakes "poker with the guys" sort of thing.
I wouldn't try to pull that off in Atlantic City or Vegas with real money, though.

with psychs i can easily think of more things all at once.
some ideas are closely related and connect better,
whole models seem to crystallize rapidly (layers congeal into unity) and these models seem good and responsive to conditions.
the psychedelic models can be broken yet may still seem to work well masking their own imperfections with synchronicity types of logical leaps.
when any part connects - that satisfaction or completion can contaminate the rest of the model inviting imperfect resolutions.
you can get excited - as if the world's problems were solved, but it was just a glance or castles in the sky.
