I have noticed this bug a few times now, its pretty minor but it does break some links.
Links that have the ( or ) character in them don't get parsed correctly.
Example:

I just found a similar problem with the quotation mark. When I google for something with quotes google turns it into a percent 22 on the URL line. But in the post preview I can see that all percent 22's are turned back into quotes, breaking the link.

I didn't change anything with the regexes, I think the problem is that particular URL contains actual quote characters instead of the %22 URL-encoded equivalent. Since quotes are invalid characters in URLs it breaks at that point, at intended. If you replace the quotes with %22 it works, and it doesn't convert them back to actual quote characters (which was the original bug in this thread).
