This is not misinformation, these are facts. The original post was misinformation, but knowing the shroomery (for banning me before) they are still into spreading false info. I bet any money this site is run by the government..

Our problem is our UN-natural lifestyle has left us weak. We cannot even eat raw meat or eggs anymore, because our defenses to salmonella and other organisms are not what they are supposed to be. So, in this day and age we basically need to be careful. However, Milk Thistle is the best natural liver protector and look it up if you do not believe it,studies have been done....the DEATH CAPS WILL NOT HARM YOU if you ingest the milk thistle 24 hours before you eat them.

Another part of Original's response which sounds false, is that he FOUND a death cap even growing from the shit. Death caps don't grow out of any type of dung...however it's possible they could grow from the ground UNDER it and through it (but VERY VERY unlikely) I have shroomed for over 15 years, over 1000 times (I used to go every single day) and I've found shrooms growing ALL YEAR long, no matter what the weather(they are much more potent in the winter I have found) so don't question my knowledge on this subject. I am the person people come to when they need info on mushrooms. Get this FACT-
Out of the 1000 times(just an estimate, probably more) I have been mushroom hunting, I have only found Poisonous mushrooms growing from cow shit ONCE. Yep, just one time...and that was  because it rained so much that these shrooms were growing EVERYWHERE and just happened to grow from UNDER the shit and through it(not actually from it,although it appeared to be...so this could have fooled a newbie, espeically since they LOOKED a lot like the purple ringer's that you want to find) The mushroom was called POISON PIE. (I dont care to tell you the scientific name) and it's not a deadly mushroom, but could make you sick. It's funny, because my friend ate a GREEN GILL which is popular in yards in FL,and it supposedly is the MOST poinsonus mushroom which WONT kill you, but some books say it has caused MANY deaths. Well, my friend ate one and got a little sick, that was it. We both knew that a fucking mushroom is not going to kill you,as long as you eat right. This kid eats right. He eats all raw food, meat, etc,so he has defenses for anything that would harm today's normal "unnatural" american.
BOTTOM LINE, death caps dont grow from shit,and even if they did, you dont have to worry since they look NOTHING like the good ones. They have white gills, not purple like the good ones.
Also to clear up one other thing- There are plenty of other kinds of mushrooms which grow out of the cow/horse/donkey/goat/dog shit (yes I found Psilocybe Cubensis growing from Dog shit before!) however they are ALL edible. I know because I ate over a pound of each of them on different occasions. First off, you have the white ones, which DONT make you trip,but you also WONT get sick if you eat them. they have purple/black gills. Then you have the LBM's (little brown mushrooms) that grow from the shit. THESE ARE HALLUCINOGENIC and will make you trip. A lot of people pass these up because they dont know that they are good shrooms. They only eat the bluestainers(cubensis) but if you notice the little Brown ones also stain blue(well some of them do..the little gold ones...there are about 5 different kinds that grow from the shit here in FL...and 4 out of the 5 are hallucinogenic, and the other are the white ones I mnetioned which are not poisonous...so really,999 out of 1000 times, you will be safe eating a mushrooms growing directly from the cow shit...no offense but they are so easy to identify anyways,that you would have to be an idiot to make a mistake)
