You Really need to research the Weilii before very basic questions like this one.

JaciNEvan it doesn't matter what time of day ya look just look ya dig, i find them at all times of the day it doesn't matter. The most important thing is to never give up, if you dont find anything just keep at it. I know a shroomerite on here who goes out for an hour and then gives up, you cant be like that you gotta remember that your hunting something and hunting anything takes a while, thats why its called hunting i went out for 5 hours the other day and only found a couple. Thats just how it is sometimes, you'll find a ton one day in a little bit of time and then find a couple the next day in a few hours. So basically what im saying is keep at it dont give up.

I generally hunt the day after a rain and next few days or so after that..as long as theyre shaded..they will be there for a few days or so...my patch seems to fruit almost the next day after a rain..it is a lawn patch..but im starting to find more in the wood/weed line on the edge of the lawn..and farther into the open lawn...my patch is starting to spread...i like to flick the caps of mine for a minute after i pick them..to try and knock off the spores...so this could be helping to spread the patch...or just by leaving several behind could be...or both i guess

Welp today i leave the bahamas but last night i traded a native some things for the weilii so i think it will be really cool for someone out here on the islands to be able to experience them too! I had about 2 gr's so i think it will do him nicely. As for the trade it was well worth it. Lord A Mercy

A few from a new patch i found today. I know i should have let that little cluster grow but it was so pretty i couldnt help but harvest that one. Also all you noobs notice in the picture of the single one in my hand how its staining brown on the stipe, lots of weilii that are very very fresh do this. Also notice the myc on the caps of a few of them, very cool. Weilii always get do that, with the myc growing on the cap.

They grow from spring to winter, December 15th is the latest ive found them. Rain definitely helps out alot, the flushes after the rain are always bigger but without rain they still flush usually from the morning dew on the ground.

From this morning, there were tons of aborts and pins. I love to grab just a few of the tiny ones that still have there veil intact, they look soooo cool.

Dickenz, I HAVE researched on Weilii, and ive read ALOT of the past threads. my "basic questions" as you call them are asked because I figured its best to have as much information as I possibly can so that I can find them. but thanks for your suggestion

Ok guys, so it sounds like to me that theyre still growing even though it hasnt rained in almost a week, so it doesnt HAVE to be right after a rain? or a couple days after? just as long as the weathers right. Thanks to all of you folks out there helping me, I cant wait to find them and post pics

sorry man that came out bad...generally the rule of thumb is 2-3 days after rain...but there are a lot of factors..tall grass and/or pine needles will help keep the moisture in..and shady areas
but with all the rains weve been gettin lately you should just about be able to hunt anytime..especially the next few days
