There's about 3-4 acres of pine fores at the end of the culdesac in my neighborhood..and a neighborhood down the street...with a creek running through it...are weilii found in large wooded areas like this..or just close to houses with nice lawns...i mean I've never gotten an answer on how deep these things are in the woods...cause i love to walk through the woods to see what i can find.

Found a few in my neighbors yard today, it rained yesterday and these guys were waterlogged except for a few oh well.

waterlogged or not those look really pretty, thank you for posting. Yes it rained hard at my house yesterday too, but i think i'm about 15 miles too far west to find any here, even though the subdivision behind my house was comlpeted 2000-2001 I'm still freaked about walking thru yards, but i do ride my bike alot looking from the street cycling slow.

I dont know i usually dont weigh them, i give them to a buddy to keep at his house since i have children so i really dont ever see them all at once so i couldn't guesstimate weight. My buddy doesn't trip so i trust him with them.

I found my first weilii of the year today. only a single semi dried up one on a lawn. ive only been back in GA for 2 weeks and not really looking but its a start!

Honestly man your questions sketch me out a bit. Your always asking about weight and other questions kinda like something a narc would do. I think I found my first weilii today, I dont have a working camera so I just left them where they were but now I think I have my own little weilii hunting area :laugh:

Ill try get pictures another day if I can borrow my dads camera :smile:

BTW, Whats the proper pronunciation for weilii ? it it like whale-ee
