 spell checker suggestion

would it be possible to have have one's own custom dictionary to add words to so they don't get flagged when spell checking posts? Or, not quite as good but still useful, have the option to select different country dictionaries? I like to use UK spelling. But I'm sure everyone has words they use which aren't in the standard dictionary.

A good alternative is to use the built in firefox spellchecker.

any time you type something fucked up in the post box ittle be red, you never noticed that shit?
right click it and at the top it lists words LOOOL

I've never had that. But I'm downloading a UK dictionary from add-ons so maybe that'll do it.

are you running the first version of firefox ever made? or did you go out of your way to disable spell check?

also the spell checker doesnt work in login boxes and it might not work in the title bar...
it works on the post however...
spellcheck is on by default sense forever but Maybe you should upgrade to firefox 3 just to be sure?
i hope the add on makes it start working for you though 
this isnt my image but see the red squiggles? thats telling you great is spelled wrong

spell checker always worked on the older ones for me... 2.2 and 2.4 and shit... maybe your doing something wrong
try googleing firefox spellcheck

Apparently firefox spellcheck only works in text fields like the one im typing in right now...
This link shows you how to enable spell check in text boxes, like the subject/title box when making a new post

Here's our custom wordlist. You can paste its contents into the bottom of the .dic file in the Mozilla Firefox\dictionaries directory. That way you won't have to add all the words manually.
