Turning $20s into $100s

Anyone know a good, non-suspicious way to turn a stack of 20s into a stack of 100s? Would walking into my bank and asking for them to change out the bills be bad? It's not a ton of them, but it's more than a normal person would be walking around with.

How did this get asked twice in 2 days? Yes, you go to a bank to change bills, no its not suspicious unless you have like 10K.

If you are so worried about it looking suspicious, why don't you just take in a few hundred worth of bills at a time and get them exchanged? Then the next day go to a different bank and do the same thing.
What are they going to do, call the cops because you have a hard on for $100 bills? Or is this some sort of simple laundering scheme?

It'll be 2400 from 20s into 100s. I just hate having so many 20s on me. But anyhow, do you have to have an account at a bank to get it changed out? Or are all banks obliged to change money out? Because I don't mind hitting 3 or 4 up to keep it less suspicious.

Just take it all to a bank and find out. That isn't a lot of money compared to what some people bring into banks. Don't worry about it so much. You aren't doing anything illegal or suspicious by exchanging $2400 in 20's to 100's.

DieCommie, no, I'm just saying all of this because I like lying on online forums -_-.
I just want to make sure I'm not raising red flags anywhere. I like keeping my transactions relatively low key.

Why? If you dont want to spend it all in one place, don't carry 2400 on you. If you are going to spend it all in one place, most business owners prefer a stack of 20s over 100s any day of the week.
$100 is a bit of an awkward bill, more so than 50s.
Of course you can change the money, you don't have nothing to hide have you?
On the off chance you do, you are better off with random 20s than serial 100s.

Haha Wiccan. Well, there are definitely reasons I want to change them into 100s. I need to send a moneygram to a family member who needs the cash desperately, and I just straight up don't feel like walking into wal mart with $2400 in 20s to do that.

This reminds me of "office space" when they try looking for a coke dealer so they can learn how to launder money.

I've walked the street with 10 krugerrands in my pocket. Thats a roll the size of a flashlight battery, pure gold. $10.000 by todays rate.
People can't see you are carrying, as long as you act casual-like. As in, not suspicious
When you pay out the money Walmart isnt gonna care if its 20s or 100s. Now I think of it, they might scrutinize each of those 100s looking if they're real. Talk about uncomfortable! Anyone with money experience (like people at a teller) can handcount your 20s in a minute flat.
The moment your cash comes out it is to pay. Hand over the bundle, let them count it. If a robber snags it from their greasy little Walmart fingers, they must refund you because the money was in their custody.
Put it in your pocket, go there and hand it over at once, problem solved. If you change it to 100s first you have to make TWO trips carrying, one to the bank and one to walmart. Makes no sense, really.
If they ask why the fuck its in 20s, hey, thats how you save money. A friend of mine does that. Whenever a 10 euro bill makes it into his wallet he lays it aside and puts it on a stack.
Less weed = less paranoid
If you feel uncomfortable carrying, bring a friend. Heck, bring 2 friends.

Scribble out the 2, write a 1 over it, then add a 0 at the end.

Well, I guess I'm about to walk into walmart with a brick of money to do a 2400 moneygram...
Wish me luck. Lol.
I just need to get this money to family, and I do not need to be scrutinized. I hate living in a country where I have to worry about this kind of stuff left and right.

I've dated 2 chicks who work at banks, and they are only required to report you if you walk in with over 10 or 11 grand in cash, wanting to make a deposit. They see amounts like 2 grand every day, its not a big deal.

I personally am much too paranoid to trade in bills at a bank unless I'm very friendly with a paticular teller. Use your legitimate job if you have access to cash drawer/safe. Or become friendly with someone who does.

A little asian guy who own's the gas station down the road and makes daily deposits coming in with $2,400 and a young guy with a grateful dead shirt on coming in for the first time are very different things and would certainly be noticed by any teller who isn't retarted. Now whether or not the decide to mention that to anybody, I don't know. But I don't own a business so I keep my small bills small.
