Yes, one time I did. I noted a speck of dust on the cover.

Making the noise "penicillin" is no substitute for actually taking penicillin.

I have. Especially Genesis and Revelations.
I've also tripped and read the Enuma Elish (Original Genesis), The Papyrus of Ani (Egyptian Book of the Dead), and the Bardol Thodol (Tibetan Book of the Dead) which are all far older and much more interesting books.

What are your thoughts on tripping and reading those heavy texts? Did you find yourself more open or closed to the ideas presented inside? Did you find yourself interpreting or understanding the material in a different way than you might have sober?

Very interesting. I'd love to hear a detailed report, if you remember the details.

I usually read on reentry, of course I felt I understood more deeply when high but these stories have myriad layers of meaning.
Lately I've become more interested in the true nature of the human being more than the after life or our origins as a species.

Me too. These books are a headache. But I did have an interesting discussion ("study") with someone about something I was confused about:
http://pages.citebite.com/e5m9q4o1gdvx
but can you give me an understandable explanation as to what "...and they shall be tormented for the eons of the eons" means? Well, I may not give you the same answer that Ray will. Ray will say that this happens after the millennium during the Great White Throne Judgment when they are cast into the lake of fire I believe that this is going on now. That the wrath of God is already being poured out and already abides on the wicked. That verse is talking about the "unholy trinity" the beast, the false prophet, and the devil LOL Well, all those whose names are not written in the Lamb's Book of Life are cast into the lake of fire. But if you really think about it we are "the beast", "the false prophet" and "the devil" we're the devil? I believe that "the devil" (Satan) is MAN. Or at least the carnal nature of man. Ray believes that he is a spirit being who was created by God and who will also be saved. There was a post on the bibletruths forums where someone said they thought the serpent in the garden of eden was just a symbol of a part of eve's mind EXACTLY!! Look very closely at the temptation of Christ (Matthew 4:19) Satan offered to give him all that he could see. Did any of that belong TO SATAN? Or did it belong to Christ already? Wow. I see, now.. Christ was tempted by His own HUMAN NATURE. Yup Another parable Just as Eve was tempted by her own carnal thinking.
–
Isaiah 54 is in the context of men warring. Isaiah 54:16 could be confirmation of your theory about us BEING Satan, the waster. It goes all the way back to Genesis and the garden. Not just with Eve. Also with CAIN Cain represents THE CARNAL/NATURAL man Who was A MURDERER FROM THE BEGINNING. (Genesis 4:8; John 8:44)
–
You said you think the Lake of Fire is taking place right now? yes Revelation is the Revelation of Jesus Christ yes so it's not necessarily the future nope Christ was already revealed in the flesh Now he is being revealed in the spirit
