 Watermelon favored candy

I was reading about polyporus squamosa in the wikipedia and under edibility it says you can make watermelon flavored candy with it.
Has anyone attempted this here?

Yeah! If they tasted like watermelon , I'd be all over it. I'd like to cultivate it too.
